One may assume that the Bushnell Tour Z6 has all of the same features as the previous model known as the Tour V2. However, this is not true. The Tour V6 has better magnification, introduces Vivid Display technology, a waterproof exterior shell, and readings that are faster, extending to ranges of up to 125 yards. Keep in mind that all of these features are also available on the previous reviewed Bushnell product. Some of them can be found on earlier alternative products from the same company as well.
This particular Bushnell will calculate distance beginning at 5 yards and going to a maximum 1300 yards. It tops up to 900 yards to trees. For flags, the maximum is about 450 yards with a slight margin that could potentially allow it to sight several yards further.
The field of view is wider than many of it’s competitors, a feature that is not marketed as heavily as the other signature features. If you have used rangefinders of top shelf quality before, you may notice that the Tour Z6 cannot automatically scan, which enables users to press the power button to scan across different points for receiving distances to anything that is in range. With the Pin Seeker option, you can only get short readings that are brief. This will force you to pan in on targets that are closer than the primary objects that you wish to gauge.
